The artist

Valerie Goischon-Herrera was born in 1970. She's a photographer and a graphic designer and now lives in Paris, France.

Originally working in advertising, Val has been a mixed- media artist for many years. Eventually, she began incorporating photography into her work.
In searching for a way to express the images she had in mind, Val discovered the computer as a tool to create art. In 1995, she began training in digital imaging.

The traditional methods of art combined with the limitless possibilities of the computer allow her to spontaneously bring together her emotional and aesthetic senses.
